It has been one year since Researchdata.se was launched as Sweden's national research data portal. The portal, run by the Swedish National Data Service (SND), aims to make research data from various scientific subject areas more visible and accessible for searching, sharing, and reuse.
During the first year, the portal has been further developed with new functions and improvements, including support for handling data containing personal information, publishing scientific code, and enhanced search functions in the research data catalogue. More data sources have also been added, strengthening the portal's role as a comprehensive national resource for Swedish research data.
For the Polar Research Secretariat, Researchdata.se is an important channel for making the data that the secretariat makes available visible. The portal includes data from the icebreaker Oden, as well as a large number of data series from the research station in Abisko.
By making this data available in the portal, the conditions for reuse, long-term access, and increased visibility for Swedish polar-related research are improved.
