Technical requirement for new polar research vessel

Due to the government's ongoing investigation regarding the acquisition of a new polar research vessel, the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat has now presented a Technical requirement specification for the new vessel.
These requirements should be considered preliminary as the specification may change before any advertised procurement. Feedback from prospective suppliers may be a reason for changing the specification, but there may also be other reasons.
Interested suppliers (shipping companies) are hereby invited to provide written comments on the technical requirements specification. Please e-mail your comments to office@polar.se.
