The icebreaker Oden is owned by the Swedish Maritime Administration. Through a long-term cooperation agreement, the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat uses Oden for polar expeditions during the summer. The crew of the icebreaker Oden are employees of the Swedish Maritime Administration.
