The icebreaker Oden has left the dry dock in Landskrona. During a short test cruise outside Halmstad, a winch and various systems, propellers and engines were tested.

Now she is at the port of Helsingborg, and the preparations for the expedition are proceeding. With the help of a skilled crane driver, Oden's fantastic crew and the secretariat's professional technicians, all containers are lifted into place.

The containers contain, among other things, laboratories and equipment needed during the expedition. The one in the picture will be used for the cold store of research samples.
