Antarctic Exchange of Information (AEOI)
This page fulfills the annual obligation of Sweden as an Antarctic Treaty signatory to report its activities taking place in Antarctica.
The information is provided in accordance with Sweden's obligations under Article III (1)a and Article VII (5) of the Antarctic Treaty to provide advance information on Swedish activities in Antarctica, as well as obligations within the Protocol on Environmental Protection to the Antarctic Treaty and its Annexes to exchange information.
The information also includes information on non-government activites in Antarctica, such as tourism or expeditions arranged by private Swedish groups or individuals, to the extent that these activities are known to Swedish Polar Research Secretariat, they are included.
In accordance with ATCM Resolution 6 (2001) information has been provided in the format recommended in Attachment A to that resolution.
