The Swedish Polar Research Secretariat and Swedish Research Council share the responsibility for planning Swedish polar research. These governmental agencies have established a shared roadmap for support to research projects in polar regions outside Sweden. This roadmap will serve as the start of a long-term plan for Swedish polar research within the programmes SWEDARCTIC and SWEDARP.
