Field Course Handbook

FältkurshandbokSome routines and procedures at the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat may have changed since the production of this handbook, but the majority of the information is still valid and useful.

The Field Course Handbook is developed and written by staff at the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat in co-operation with experts in the field. The handbook is compulsory reading for participants in polar research expeditions organized by the Secretariat and is a complement to field courses before expeditions.

The Field Course Handbook can be downloaded as a pdf-file. Expedition participants can also get a hardback copy from the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat. The book is written in English. Please send your suggestions for complementary additions and improvements by e-mail to sofia.rickberg@polar.se.
