The SWEDARCTIC 2011 research programme included the following projects:

EAGER 2011

The Danish-Swedish expedition EAGER 2011 (East Greenland Ridge) took place in an area off Northeast Greenland in August–September 2011. The expedition was carried out by the Continental Shelf Project of the Kingdom of Denmark in cooperation with the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat and the Swedish Maritime Administration.

NOA-Svalbard 2011

Seven areas in southern Svalbard have been identified as sites for fieldwork to be done under the auspices of the NOA-Svalbard Project (Neoproterozoic Orogeny in Southern and Central Svalbard). Six of these areas will be destinations for the main expedition in 2012, while one was studied in the summer of 2011 by a small group of researchers from Sweden and Norway in cooperation with a larger Polish expedition.
